I think the difference between not put gether enough for a high profile event and automatically unfashionable or unstylish must be as broad as the difference between people who value critique as ol to better themselves and people who look for to be ld that everything that they do is 100percentage perfect very often.

Poor little rich girl. Super well said. That second photo looks perfectly professional and ‘put together’ for a stylewriter ON A HOT DAY who isn’t in front of a camera regularly. That said, not everyone who writes about clothes on the internet is Rumi Neely. Then again, and she keeps being invited to these events, Know what, I am sure she is dressing appropriately, if her bosses think she is doing her job properly. Therefore, my appearance is usually not a huge poser for lots of the publications I write for. That’s when things get a little hairy, when I’m asked to go to an event for one particular site. Basically, I go to an event, get my sound bites, and later go home and work on my story. Furthermore, I write for a celebrity ‘style focused’ blog, and the editor likes to take pictures for social media purposes and sometimes do staff shoots.
Little did I know, that would not be the case.

Consequently before leaving to start putting gether my stories, my editor asked myself and a few staff members to pose for a picture, after getting all my sound bites. I got ripped apart by the readers. Until the next day it was published to the site. By the way I thought I was planning to work, and thought it will be nice to be comfortable for once on the redish carpet, that always is a thousand degrees. Oh well. It wasn’t my night it was my editor’s and I was just there to support, and like many other attendees, To be honest I kept it comfortable and casual. Some information can be found by going online. I have to agree as a fashion blogger you’re expected to dress the part! I’m sure it sounds familiar. Especially being in the public eye.
You have to dress for the job you have.
Even if it’s not my personal style, I mean. If you are a fashion blogger, your appearance is really part of your resume, obviously you have to take loads of what the internet says with a grain of salt. Identical with anyone at a makeup counter, or what folks are wearing in a boutique. I like the outfits. It’s a well I think it’s telling that I could also wear them to work.
For some reason I was feeling a little hurt, I’m quite sure I don’t let what other people say about my outfits bother me.

You are so funny. My fashion analysis instructor is great with textures, colors, silhouettes, and proportions whenit gets to dressing for others and look, there’re days when she wears terrible jeans for comfort. My daily uniform for work is pretty much a Crew button down, jeans, and boots in the winter, and a breezy printed dress in the summer with my Dolce Vita sandals or Pour La Victoire flats. Easy peasy, decidedly more pulled gether than what I wear to do my blogging in the apartments in the course of the day, and best of all easy on my feet. I’m sure you heard about this. Oh, and when the temperature’s a right, a moto jacket ALWAYS a moto jacket! We make decisions every now and again about which bloggers and vloggers to follow on the basis of how they carry themselves. I mean, So if you look for to bill yourself as a fashion blogger, part of the job is coming to fashion industry events looking, well. I honestly don’t even think those comments are that harsh? I’m not intending to take makeup and fashion advice from someone if they don’t appear stylish and put together, you know?

I’ve seen my fair share of fashion critics personally at NY Fashion Week and I almost always HATE what they’re wearing. I reckon that’s where people get confused. It just baffles me that when people don’t necessarily like her style, it automatically means she can’t dress herself. Remember, it doesn’t detract from their credibility. In addition, movie critics usually don’t make movies themselves. It doesn’t make loads of sense, By the way I guess. They have been pretty polite as far as Internet comments go. Then, people expect fashion critics to dress nicely as long as if you can’t dress yourself, why are you judging how others dress? Um, those comments weren’t mean anyway. I don’t know. Consequently, I guess people think that dressing up ain’t as hard as making music or movies or whatever. Notice that it was being stubborn, it was extremely hot that day, and I wanted to wear my hair out.

I put on a cute pair of printed pants, white pumps and a silk Equipment blouse that made me feel like a baroness.
