Now this left us questioning if those who sent us individual support were fearful of backlash. Facing very much social negativity usually was daunting and author worried about her special safety at Tech after publishing. Lark once again was greeted by an ad from bookstore for Career Fair for their Dress for Success sale. Quick forward to this spring and Dr. Definitely, lark was dismayed to search for this and expressed her disappointment on public media. Mostly, her Department Chair, Susie Amato Henderson, hit upon the clothing drive as a practical and immediate reply that will, at least in the shorter term, be free to address professional lack clothing for women. Shortly after she began receiving responses in comments form and peronal messages from women expressing their anger, irritation, outrage, and disappointment with inequitable situation at hand. That was when she was starting to foment a plan to address the massive issue. Working with women, she need to start to develop ideas for a response. One that reminds us that women mostly involve a student quarter population and a quarter of the faculty. One that demonstrates rather definitely who the administration seems to value.
One that reminds us that we are probably outsiders on this campus as we are probably women.

Tech had been successively pushing for more diversity, including growing their female student body and female faculty.
