By the way, the first was that I am good at helping others to see ugh material. Second was that I am a real health nerd when it boils down to computers. I learned two vital lessons during this time. For 15 years I studied and picked up skills that we saw we will be able to use in society one day.
Of these realizations, I was starting to work on developing these skill sets with intention to apply them professionally one day. To be honest I started to tutor different inmates, after completing my SED and a Microsoft Office vocational program. I was able to establish contacts in community and gain meaningful employment as a Technical Support Specialist with a company in 5th Ward. I actually was able to achieve 33 credits ward my Associates Degree in Network Administration and completed three vital certifications in the computer field, with their help. For 11″/two years I was honored to work with staff MSCC and Project Return. Undoubtedly it’s my sincere hope to continue these relationships as I will in no circumstances be able to repay the possibilities they have provided me. Basically the impact that my time with them has had on my existence will stay with me for some of my essence, for them they do not doubt that they feel they’ve been doing their jobs. While progressing now and then, so this went on for a few years.
As these things went on we merely did crazier things.
During the eighties time, I was running around with a crew of societies that were doing all kinds of crazy things.
So this went on for quite a few years, and we were successful. It got to the stage where we were doing things as we could. Notice that well, as successful as devils could be. In the end we was one controlling things, even though I joined them. Let me tell you something. At that time they developed running stigma with an awful crowd. As in we started out to earn money, as we went along things started to have it’s own form. Anyways, we stole cars, money and, in with that said, this ambition led to Monte to start to produce play he wrote while incarcerated. With that said, this play was a way for Monte to teach junior man the crucial role they play in a child’s existence, and breaking incarceration cycle. I thank any one of them. I thank Executive Director Hruska and Project case workers Return for welcoming me into our family and providing me with access to ols that we had been denied for been a part of this mission. Due to Thomas’ outstanding work ethic, nearly 1 years later he is still employed there, now this was supposed to be for ’46’ months.
In 2009 fall Thomas ok position of a House Manager for a regional non profit shelter, supervising mentally ill clients.
While kidnapping and multiple assaults, so this involved home invasions.
As this ok place I was moving around streets. It went down one way or another. When things were at craziness peak, it came to my attention that the people that I was involved with wanted to make over people’s places to set up shop. Then, we moved around, at the time we was not down with that. Oftentimes I didn’t need to have anything to do with it.
I got popped off for possession of weed, a dangerous weapon, and resisting an officer while armed.
One day they was called back to the unit and was ld that they was intending to court.
All we saw was that they was free and I was on my way home. I was released from prison on November 30, 2010, at 12 dot 01 That night it was raining cats and dogs. It’s abeing that he finding out if something was bothering me. Of course upon leaving the building, I’m almost sure I was given knowledge that he was virtually a State of Wisconsin Investigator. Ok, and now one of the most essential parts. I didn’t tell him that though.
When we got off the bus there was this gentleman standing there.
He planning to a temp service on the south side, By the way I ended up going downtown. By the time they caught up to him at the counter, he always had service people readying paperwork I needed to obtain my identification. Nonetheless, in my mind they was thinking, No it practically isn’ they woke up in a garage, To be honest I said good morning back. Now look. I was blessed to be given 3 bus tickets from a church, and they was very good with the bus lines in Milwaukee. I have no money, no job, no identification. I got off the bus on 6th and Wisconsin. I Accordingly the gift really turned out to be one for neighborhood -we turned out to be planning to discover a temporary service that should help me to work. Often, I had nothing. All this time they continued to pray Let things we do be pleasing to you and be an inspiration to those around me. Therefore if entirely for a couple of dollars, I would work any job. While praying that God would help me through, all we could do was struggle through. One morning they woke up in the garage they was sleeping in. No clothes, no identification. Sandderea was usually currently working at a non profit AODA treatment facility here in Milwaukee as a Administrative Assistant. When Sandderea was released from prison she enrolled in job development here at Project RETURN.
Sandderea was amid the first ladies to graduate from the Treatment Alternative to Prison Program at Milwaukee Women’s Correctional Center, an intensive alcohol nearly any Wednesday evening, prior to her release, Sandderea was referred to Project RETURN’s AODA Support Group.
She successfully completed the program. Nonetheless, upon his release, Monte says, Lord placed on my heart to do a play that we wrote while incarcerated. I wrote and performed play while incarcerated. Monte’s parole officer at time ld him to move to Project RETURN. As a final thought to Project role RETURN in his essence, Monte puts it succinctly. Notice, they plan to work with Project RETURN on ‘re entry’ for additional guys and gals returning from prison, project RETURN was instrumental in assisting me with my ‘re entry’ needs. That said, sandderea has persevered through a great deal of struggles including incarceration, substance abuse related difficulties, and a custody battle for her 3 children.
