We have always been thankful for lots of generous people who donate items we usually can use or give away.
We appreciate you thinking of us when you have something to donate!
Due to space and similar restrictions there’re occasions when we must decline these donations or possibly consider another non gains that could use items., without any doubts, you have been often welcome to call or email us to check on our current needs at 2547534900″ or office@missionwaco.org. Please do not leave any donations unattended outside of our buildings or after designated hours.
However there’re a few exceptions when we have been having periodic garage sales or if we are actually need of an item so you were usually welcome to call and check, In main we do not pick up donations. Our programs have needs for modern or used items. You have probably been welcome to volunteer for us with the gifts and skills. We oftentimes have need of these solutions on occasion, like most organizations. Please consult with the tax advisor to determine what really is allowable in tax codes, I’d say if you will like to get donation credit for the donation of professional skills. Donated food usually can be used in various programs like Manna House, Kids Café, Women’s Group, children/youth programs, Meyer Center, My Brother’s Keeper Shelter, community organizing events, emergency food pantry, and a variety of training lunches for staff, volunteers, etcetera We accept non perishables and in addition fresh, prepared, or frozen food.
Our storage space is usually limited -so please call ahead to figure out which location will receive your donation and an appropriate drop off time going to be arranged.
Larger size clothing is needed.
In the winter we need coats, hats, gloves, warm clothes. Clothing donations were always got at following times. Nevertheless, bed linens, towels, and a limited selection of short house wares probably were as well needed. THE CLOTHESLINE is our retail store that sells women’s and children name brand clothes, shoes and accessories. Seriously. We have 1 outlets in need of our own clothing donations. Our VOUCHER CENTER has usually been where men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes, undergarments, socks and accessories were usually provided to participants who have obtained vouchers from Meyer Center.
